“Startup” is currently a very popular form of self-development, a source of income and a way to influence the world around us. But only 1 in 4 Polish startups has a woman in its founding structure, and even less have a woman as the main founder. We want more women to forge their excellent ideas into technology businesses, therefore the Perspektywy Education Foundation together with the Citi Foundation with input from the L. Kronenberg Foundation has launched the “Shesnnovation Academy” programme – a free startup academy for women in STEM whose passions include the new technologies, science, and innovations.
Shesnnovation is a 6-months programme during which 35 enterprising women will receive, among other things:
· a cycle of business and soft skills training;
· participation in mentoring and expert consulting;
· organisational support in creating a company;
· plenty of networking, contacts and unforgettable friendships!
Our Mentors include notable persons from the business world, science and the startup scene, such as Dominika Bettman (CEO, Siemiens Poland), Stefan Batory (CEO, Booksy), Jacek Czerniak (Managing Director, Citi Handlowy), or Ewa Maciaś (Director of Engineering, Google).
The programme was launched on 8 December 2020 during the Perspektywy Women in Tech Summit.
